Title: Warning to Talk Talk users
Post by: mobaholic on October 17, 2009, 11:21:19 AM

I do not have the time to post all of the details, but if you have a calling package with Talk Talk, I suggest you look at http://www.talktalk.co.uk/pricechange (http://www.talktalk.co.uk/pricechange)

There are further warnings about poor service from TalkTalk on the uk.telecom google group.

See:-   http://groups.google.com/group/uk.telecom/browse_thread/thread/5698268c08949422?hl=en-GB (http://groups.google.com/group/uk.telecom/browse_thread/thread/5698268c08949422?hl=en-GB)

There are 2 points in this thread. One is about price change and second is a vent for frustrations.

I don't think the 2 threads should have been combined into one thread, cause this could lead to pages and pages of opinion and discussion, which from the first post of this thread is not what is intended, i gather.

Perhaps a split is required, mob?

You may prove right seanjoe, but as there hadn't been any rush to reply to the OP, I thought that widening out the discussion might help to generate some interest.  They share a common theme - that TalkTalk are bad on customer service, both because they try to raise prices on any pretense, and because they will resort to bullying tactics if they think a customer account is out of order.

I myself was considering to move to them a short while ago, but my recent reading on their customer service standards ( or rather lack of ! ) have put me off, and I think that both of the links I have posted may help to warn others, who may be similarly considering moving to them.        ;)
