According to the HUKD page 08 numbers are inclusive but there is no indication anywhere I can find that this is true, nor which particular 08 prefixes are included!

Has anybody managed to locate this information?

thanks for opening my eyes.  ;)

You are welcome.       :)

There are also You Fix Deals (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/you-fix/deals/),

and You Fix Monthly Plans (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/you-fix/plans/), ( though I suspect they are the same as I posted above. )       ;)

It is noteworthy that 30 day revolving contracts (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/you-fix-sim-only/you-fix-sim-only-20-30-day/t-mobile-sim-card/extras/) are markedly more expensive, as they appear to start from £20-50 per 30 days.        ::)

In answer to my own question, the terms and conditions for SIM Only contracts http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/terms-and-conditions/sim-only/ read:

Your monthly payment is for your three allowances. First, you get an allowance of minutes to check voicemail, (including call return), to call the customers of UK mobile networks, to call numbers starting with 01, 02 & 03 (excluding Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man), and to call numbers starting with 08 at any time.

So it would seem that t-mobile has included 08 numbers (all?) in their sim only contract minutes!

The link you provided seems to limit that to SIM only 30 day plans and to SIM only 12 month plans.       ;)

I cannot see the equivalent provision on either SIM Only Fixed 30 day plans or on SIM Only You Fix however.       ???

One reason to steer away from You Fix I suggest.       ;)

BTW does anybody understand the difference between '30 day plans' mentioned in the top section, and 'SIM Only Fixed 30 day plans' mentioned below ?        :-\

I have been doing some testing on this! Since the start of this Month, when the Full Monty plans were introduced, T-Mobile have now included calls to 08 numbers in the inclusive minutes, on SIM-Only Pay Monthly and Standard Pay Monthly Plans. The Full Monty plans and U-Fix plans do not include 08 numbers in allowances.

I am in the process of establishing myself as dealer for their plans and I should be able to offer some more attractive SIM-only deals on T-Mobile and Orange soon.

You Fix plans - Never spend more than you want - A monthly bill that you fix, then top up if you need to

Mikael,

Does that mean that an existing Pay Monthly plan will now include calls to 08 numbers in its inclusive minutes, or does it only apply to new contracts?

So what pharma: if they don't include 08 calls they are still duds in comparison !      ;)

It appears that existing tariffs remain as they are. If you wish to benefit from the new terms on the use of inclusive allowances, you will either need to get a new contract, change your existing tariff to a new one, or upgrade to a new tariff and new phone.

I should also be able to offer some good upgrade deals too in due course.

They appear to allow all 08 numbers including the most expensive, 0871, 0872 and 0873 numbers. I have not tested 0872 or 0873 yet, but 0871 are inclusive.

Are there actually any 0873 numbers assigned?

Not as yet, but I guess it will only be a matter of time. They will have the same tariffs as 0871 and 0872 numbers though.

I think you are looking at things back to front pharmaa.        :o

Being able to call 08 numbers inclusively is a boon to *saving* money.  Indeed, it may be more than that, as there are a number of callthroughs on this forum which *make money* out of being able to call 0844 and 0871 numbers inclusively !        ;)

I was thinking more for users like teenagers,  who sometimes are not very disciplined to budgeting.

Thanks for highlighting other services that can be accessed via 08 numbers - I had not thought of them.

It seems that the monthly plans don't allow the addition of unlimited landline booster  - only the 5000mins unlimited landline booster.
The You Fix monthly plans do.

T-Mobile are crazy. On the one hand limiting their landline booster to 5000 minutes, on the other they add 08 numbers to their contract allowances?

I think they do. I got mine. I just sent a text FLXB3 to 879 (a month ago) to swap my flexible booster from unlimited internet to unlimited landline calls as I didn't need the internet on that particular sim. I got a text back from them in 2 minutes that my landline booster is active and they didn't even take off the internet booster, lol. I now have two flexible boosters at the same time for free ;D

When purchasing new contract via tmobile website, they don't offer the option of truly unlimited landline.
The You Fix, they do offer the truly unlimited landline.

Which 08 bolt on?

Are you refering to the inclusive 08 calls as part of the inclusive calls allowance discussed in previous posts?

Yes but it seems that some of T-Mobiles new contracts allow you to use your minutes to call 08 numbers too. I'll be able to verify this personally on Monday.

The You Fix, they do offer the truly unlimited landline.

Some of their new pay monthly plans supplied with phones do still have the full unlimited boosters available. It is only the SIM-only pay monthly plans that no longer have truly unlimited boosters.

I will hopefully be able to offer all plans on a SIM-only basis soon.

I have now received my Micro-SIM and made a test call:

27/02/2012 08:49:58   08719862073       00:00:05   £0.00

As you see, it has not been charged. I can't at this point tell you how many seconds or minutes were taken from my inclusive minutes though, as that information is not currently showing.

I can now confirm that calls to 08 numbers are taken from inclusive minutes on a minute-per-minute basis, i.e 1 minute to an 08 number takes 1 minute from your allowance.

Also, these new SIM only deals have the option to add another 200 minutes for £5 on a one off basis. You should also be able to call 08 numbers with these extra minutes as far as I can tell.
