Title: Carphone Launch Network Price Promise.
Post by: BJ on May 06, 2011, 02:14:29 AM
"Carphone Warehouse has pledged that customers ‘won’t find a better price from their network’ with the launch of its ‘Network Price Promise’.

The move follows consumer research by the retailer which showed that customers often believe they will find a better deal by getting their contract direct from their network.

Those that usually renew a contract directly with their network can also take advantage of the scheme. If customers find a better deal elsewhere, Carphone Warehouse will match that offer.

Upgrades will also be included in the proposition, even if the phone or contract was not originally purchased from a Carphone Warehouse store.

Matt Stringer, UK MD of Carphone Warehouse said: ‘With so many mobile phone networks and tariffs available on the market, keeping track of the best deal is not always easy. It’s clear from our research that people frequently believe they can get a better deal by purchasing through their network, but that is not the case. Today’s new initiative supports our core values of providing the best impartial advice whilst offering great value. With the Network Price Promise, we’ve made it really easy for our customers to know that they’re receiving the best deal for them.’ "
