Increased data allowances and lower monthly costs among the benefits
Orange has updated its most popular business tariffs, adding extra benefits to Business Solo customers, while the Business Infinity tariff offers increased data allowances and lower monthly costs.
Business Solo is Orange's single-user package, and the carrier said that customers who sign up or renew their contract on this plan will now be able to select two benefits rather than one when signing up to a 24-month contract.
The choice of benefits includes unlimited Orange-to-Orange calls, unlimited landline calls, unlimited UK texts, unlimited BlackBerry emails, or up to 500MB of browsing per month.
Business Infinity tariffs, which give customers unlimited calls and texts for a monthly fee, have now been reduced by £10 for customers on 18-, 24- and 36-month contracts.
Customers on 24- and 36-month contracts additionally get an increased monthly data allowance from 250MB to 500MB.
Martin Lyne, director for small and medium business at Orange, explained that it was important to help customers be in a position to make the most of any economic upturn during 2010.
"Whether it is through lowering the cost of tariffs or increasing data allowances, we want to make sure all of our business customers are catered for, " he said.
