Although this may be of limited value, I have come accross a Belgian callthrough being offered on a Belgian geographic number. The access number is: +32 2 888 3 888, and further details can be found on the website:

http://www.3starsnet.com/uk.

The website states that it works from 08:00 to 19:00 hrs, but I found that the callthrough was working outside these hours. The call quality on my test calls was very good.

I tried to research this very question yesterday morning, but I was unable to find a destinations' list on their website.  So I guess it's a question of trying different ones to see what works.  Graham has already ascertained that you cannot call either Irish 818 numbers, or Spanish 902s.        Wink

I can also confirm calls to Pakistan landline and mobiles not allowed.

This number  is a normal geographic Brussels number so the destination list can not be long....

Their website claims over 200 destination, but I can only see 54 specified, some of which are multiple destinations in one country, or both fixed lines and mobiles.   Wink

Still, even 54 destinations are 54 more than are currently available on the geo service !   Shocked

:'(Pease. can anyone advice what the best and cheepist way is to connect to these international callthroughs..

Two ways spring to mind:-

1).  I believe that the Belgium one can be called through Mikael's standard SMS TopUp service, though you need to be aware that the minimum call charge of 3 minutes makes this uneconomic for short calls;

2).  Those with a T-Mobile SIM ( contract or pay & go ) can call Belgium for 3p / min. using either YCW or Call Happy.

If others have found alternative ways, please post them below.
