Orange has unveiled a raft of price increases for its landline telephone customers.Orange has announced a number of price rises for its landline telephone customers.
The changes come into effect on the 19th September and affect calls to numbers including Directory Enquiries and premium numbers.

Call connection feeThe fee payable on most calls which are not included as part of your broadband and calls plan is rising from 12p per call to 12.5p per call.
Directory EnquiriesCalls made to numbers beginning 118. These are subject to some sharp increases:

Calls to 08 numbersDepends on the full number. As an example, calls made to 08440544020 currently cost 4.5p per minute during the day and 1p per minute in the evening and at weekends. From 19th September this will jump to 6.5p per minute at all times on Orange.
Calls to 09 numbers
Depends on the full number. As an example, calls to numbers beginning 0983636 currently cost £1.80 per call plus £1.80 per minute. This will rise to £2.69 per call plus £2.69 per minute with Orange.
