The operator announced that it would have access to the handset in June and since then has been selling the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. 3 will enter the iPhone 4 market undercutting its rivals. An iPhone 4 16GB will be available for an upfront cost of £99 compared to O2 and Orange asking for over £150. It is thought 3 stores will be opening early on Friday, with some opening as early as 7am on for the launch of the Apple handset. In the run up to the launch, 3 staff have been taking customers details and contacting them to book appointments for the launch day.
