When I idly glanced at my old google group site this afternoon (
http://groups.google.co.uk/group/mobaholics-pre-dial-companion ), I came across a google advert pointing to:-
http://www.telediscount.com.au/Taking a quick look at it, I was surprised to see what appeared to be a rival geo callthrough service, offering free calls to China, USA, UK, New Zealand, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, and Vietnam ( which looked a rather odd collection of countries ).
EDIT: I later saw that it included many other destinations, including Pakistan landlines and mobiles !
When I saw the access number was
0424 215 045, I mistakenly thought it was Hastings - till I realised that the "1" after the leading zero was missing. Dawh !
I looked on PhonepayPlus, but they said the number was not valid !
I am really not sure what to make of this.
Could it possibly be a Skype number, does anyone know ?
( It would be a mobile number in Australia - were it prefaced by +61 )
There is a mysterious "mobile rate" places near to the access number, but I don't know if it's possible to call 0424 inclusively - or even at all ! - from a UK mobile !
Does anyone have any light to shine on this matter please ? It's a complete mystery to me !
