Seen the first 0870 access number back in use (0870 996 0990) 3p/min + AC from Just-Dial, may work with some 0845/0870 only plans who knows.. as long as not a known/barred call-through, but always make a test call first and check your unbilled charges.

I am in the process of getting several new or improved services ready with 0870 numbers, so keep an eye on the forum!

Following from my earlier post about making some test calls to 08 numbers, it seems that vodafone haveremoved 08 calls from my inclusive mins and are now charging me! This is my worst case scenario come true!
To confuse matters further, I had an email from my account manager confirming that 08 will stay as a free call and even a vodafone advisor said that these charges will be adjusted and removed on the billing date (which i dont really believe). So im undecided now.....do i cancel my contracts and move on or shall i wait and see what happens and fight it out?

I would fight it first of all, as you have nothing to loose. The fact that they confirmed to you that the 08 inclusive calls would remain should be enough to justify a fight with them!

Can anybody confirm how the service and access charges are reflected on their "Unbilled Usage"? I'm particularly interested in EE however details of any network might be helpful. Also, if anybody has tested before and after adding 08 bundles etc?

I have the unlimited 08 bundle on EE since last year September. They have kept my bundle after the new changes were implemented from the 1st of July. Also, my monthly allowances were refreshed today and I can see my 08 unlimited bundle with the rest of my allowances. I can't confirm how the access charges are reflected in the "unbilled usage" as I'm not charged for those calls.

Some good news on Vodafone. I added their "0845 and 0870 Extra" to my mobile account last week and 0870 numbers are inclusive. They have updated their website to now include all 084 and all 087 numbers. The Extra costs £2.50 per month for 300 mins.

Thanks for this info Mikael. I assume that's inclusive of Access charge and Service charge?

It would be good to have some clarity on what you mean by: "They have updated their website to now include all 084 and all 087 numbers" Mikael. Are you saying the 0845 and 0870 Extra now includes all 084 and 087 destinations, or what exactly?

Is it worth having that 300 mins for £2.50. I believe EE also gives same add on now.

Are you saying the 0845 and 0870 Extra now includes all 084 and 087 destinations, or what exactly? Precisely, in the past it was advertised as allowing calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers. Now it is says 084 and 087, so I assume Vodafone now include 0844, 0871, 0872 as well! I shall do some testing to find out.
