To Dave Knell Calling Pakistan has jumped from 3 units per minute to 13 units per minute. Please reduce this back to 3 units as 13 is just outrageous. I have lost thousands of units without realising the increase to 13 units per minute. I know its a shot in the dark, but it would be greatly appreciated if you can credit back some thousands of those units. Thanks

Dream on mate getting a credit . It has been like this for quite a while now. I'm surprised you were not aware of this. It seems like the price hike has been done intentionally as previous requests to "look into it" have fallen on deaf ears unfortunately.

The background to this is that calling Pakistan became a lot more expensive - essentially, they started taking stiff action against people who were terminating traffic in the country illegally, through SIM gateways, leaky PABXes or other means. This forced much more traffic to go via the official international gateway, and that's expensive.
We are now in the process of contracting with a good "grey route" supplier, which should allow us to bring the call cost back down.
As someone noted, we managed to keep the cost down when others increased theirs - unfortunately we couldn't do this indefinitely.

Sorry, Zaheer - that number should be back on Tanveer's account now.
We're up and running with the new supplier for Pakistan - now back to 3 units/min. Would be interested in feedback on call quality.

I've had a number of e-mail complaints that the cheap route to Pakistan isn't working acceptably, so I've routed traffic back to the expensive one for now. Anyone here got any feedback on the cheap one's quality?
