The tariff is available for £10 a month on an 18-month contract, or for a single £10 payment for one month's tie-in (http://shop.o2.co.uk/promo/o2mobilebroadband/tab/1_month). A Huawei (http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/productFeatures.do?pinfoId=1181&directoryId=2462&treeId=462) E169 modem come free with the longer contract - and O2 will give you three months' access for free too. The same modem costs £20 with the one-month package. O2 said 1GB a month is equivalent to spending 40 minutes a day browsing, or sending and receiving 40 emails. Use more than a gigabyte and you'll pay 2.4p per megabyte. At the end of the contract period, you can sign up for another tie-in or switch to pay-as-you-go. O2 bills for PAYG broadband (http://shop.o2.co.uk/promo/o2mobilebroadband/tab/Pay_and_Go) on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, priced at £2, £7.50 and £15, respectively, with data transfer limits of 500MB, 1GB and 3GB.
