Title: Mixed news for BT users Post by: mobaholic on July 17, 2009, 11:09:25 AM I have heard of 2 developments on BT in the past 24 hours. The 'good news' is that BT is bringing call centre jobs back from India, where difficulty in communicating cross culturally has driven many customers away. See:- TheRegister (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/07/16/bt_jobs_import/). :) The far less palatable news is that BT's daytime telephone call charges are to rise by 17% as well - to pay for the return perhaps? ( I am using a network PC whose firewall won't allow me to open the daily Mail link, so I cannot confirm some of the figures given above, which were taken from posts made elsewhere. ) ;) |
