Title: Talk Home Mobile - dodgy T&C's
Post by: davegr on February 25, 2013, 08:03:03 PM
Hi all,

I'm sure we have all come across some unreasonable T&C's before, however I think these might just be the most devious so far. I found these by accident only after looking in depth on Talk Mobile Home's web site. There is no mention in their main Terms & Conditions document, not even a link to these further terms and conditions. I can only assume that they are deliberately trying to hide them in order to mislead and scam their customers.

 See for yourself: https://secure.talkhomemobile.com/THMobile/pdf/InternationalBillingTC.pdf (https://secure.talkhomemobile.com/THMobile/pdf/InternationalBillingTC.pdf)

Dave

It's official, it's not a joke! It's linked from the "Legal and Regulatory" section of their web site.

They really are dubious. However some outfits just don't give a monkey's.

Reminds me of the tricks commonly used by calling card vendors (of which Talk Home is one). Nothing but con artists.

And another dodgy one: http://www.icardmobile.co.uk/rates.php

All calls over 2 minutes are subject to a 3 minute connection charge
