Retailer to offer monthly and pay-as-you-go deals.

UK retailer Tesco has unveiled its tariffs for the iPhone, confirming that customers will be offered monthly and pay-as-you-go plans from 14 December.

Twelve-month subscriptions will start at £20 per month, including £60 worth of calls and texts using a standard 20p per minute voice rate and 10p per text message.  Users will have the option to select five numbers at half the rate.

In addition to the monthly fee, users will need to pay £222 for the 8GB iPhone, £320 for the 16GB iPhone 3GS and £407 for the 32GB iPhone.

Tesco is also offering an unlimited tariff at £60 per month.  The 24-month plan will allow users to choose either the 8GB or 16GB iPhone model for free, or the 32GB model for £50.

Customers not wishing to sign a contract will be able to use a pay-as-you-go model that will offer the phones at £342, £440 and £538 respectively.

Users who pre-pay £15 per month will receive £30 worth of free credit, while users who pre-pay £20 per month will get £40 of credit.  Both plans will offer unlimited data access.
