Their website gives the following succinct summary:- Quote Rachel looks at the costs of send a text message from abroad and how the EU is trying to lower charges. The program said far more than this, and featured a quick look at 2 SIM's for travel: http://www.0044.co.uk/ (http://www.0044.co.uk/) and http://www.uk2abroad.com (http://www.uk2abroad.com) I have used neither of these myself, but mention them in case any member can report on their service. You could buy an ekit card, that has an isle of Mann number (07924, 07624), but generally since Italy is in the eurotariff zone I would advice you use your normal Uk mobile number. Only if you expect a huge ammoune of incoming calls you could probably use an international card like ekit
