Research indicates Four in 10 cashback website users never receive their money.

Quite right BJ, almost 5 of 10 cash back dealers ran away after selling the products and started new business with new names on new places. I think the user should be given the right of protection against certain few bad dealers in the market are repeating this offense again and again. If some people raise this issue to ofcom and operators, this problem could be sorted out! I heard from couple of people they claimed from the operators directly, in some cases operators considered these sort of cases as well, but this issue should be discussed on ofcom platform!

Why ? Have you read the article ? If so your see the article in question is talking about cashback on all sorts of products specifically from cashback websites. Not about cashback on mobile deals from dodgy dealers. Hence my placing it in the the Misc section as it is not a specific phone related topic. ;)

Yes, It's rather OFT (http://www.oft.gov.uk/) not ofcom in this case, gb ;)
Altough I could not find a word about missing cashbacks on their consumer direct website (http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/).

You quite right delaro this issue goes to OFT (http://www.oft.gov.uk/) rather than ofcom, as this is all about business standards and fair trading!

I appreciate your point!
