I think the user should be given the right of protection against certain few bad dealers in the market are repeating this offense again and again. If some people raise this issue to ofcom and operators, this problem could be sorted out! I heard from couple of people they claimed from the operators directly, in some cases operators considered these sort of cases as well, but this issue should be discussed on ofcom platform! If so your see the article in question is talking about cashback on all sorts of products specifically from cashback websites. Not about cashback on mobile deals from dodgy dealers.
