Title: International Non-Geo from T-Mobile
Post by: Dan on September 10, 2012, 01:25:24 AM
I've noticed that when dialing most Int Non-Geo from T-mobile, you now get:
"The international service that your calling, is not a mobile or landline & it will cost £3.50 per minute" !

Seems they can now tell the difference, standard numbers go through without any message as normal.
Shame.. I presume this is across the board, was dialing from an old flext contract plan.

00353818xxxxxx    International & Premium Calls    00:01:01    £5.83 (as unbilled activity excluding VAT) :o

Very sneaky, but no doubt implemented by T-Mobile to cash in on people having to call non-geo international call centers when booking or changing holiday arrangements. They will probably even have the cheek to charge that for international freephone. Mobile networks really are stooping to the lowest levels. The cost of terminating the call mentioned would be no more than about 10p - so charging £5.83 is nuts.
