Title: Orange terminates second line.
Post by: delaro on January 25, 2013, 12:05:33 AM
I've legacy Orange broadband package called Orange HomeMax. I've 2 lines - main one supplied by BT (and taken over by orange) and a Second Line - virtual VOIP line. I've received a phone call from orange advising me that Second line will be terminated by the end of Feb 2013. I was offered a new package instead.

For £20/month I'd get only 1 line (main one) and :

free anytime calls to UK 01, 02, 03, 0845, 0870 numbers
500 UK mobile minutes
anytime landline calls to 64 countries

I didn't get a clear definite answer if that price includes line rental as well.

I've hold my breath for the time being as the package isn't available to check online.

Shame really! Up untill now I paid £15/month (discount for being mobile customer) for 2 lines
line 1 - unlimited evening and weekend UK landline calls
line 2 - unlimited anytime UK lanadline calls
unlimited calls to UK orange mobile numbers
unlimited landline calls to landline numbers in 36 foreign countires

Here's more to read about it for anyone interested.
