Mini Ipad is too small and phone like Note II render it useless because of similar screen size. I'd personally get the new IPad if your budget allows. Guaranteed to be supported for a couple of years. If budget doesnt allow, get the ipad 2. CPW was selling new Ipad for £359 and John Lewis price matched for a lot of people a month or so ago. Worth going to JL just for the customer service + 2 year guarantee.
