Title: India 1.5 ppm Landline and Mobile
Post by: radiakashyap on August 28, 2008, 03:15:27 PM
Hi. Please visit http://www.freecall.com/en/calling-rates.html to check out more details. It's one of the betamax group. Cheers

I think you have mis-read the price radiakashyap: the website says that:- "Rates are charged in eurocents per minute.  Calls are rounded up to next minute.  Rates are subjected to change without notice".

Also the figure is 1.8 when VAT is added.

However, this is still an interesting find - though I think you would have been wise to mention that it needs a download to work.
( This probably means that it will work from your PC, but not from a mobile 'phone. )     ;)

Another betamax clone.  They have a bad habit of changing rates very fast (*without prior notice) so one should be aware of this before signing up.

This particular service is compatible with voip adapters (sip) and can also be used via 3 landline access numbers in the UK.

I agree with your warning prion: both Betamax, ( and a Swiss company beginning with a F ), seem to be devils at hooking people to subscribe with a tasty low rate - and then to 'hoik' it up as soon as they have got our 'dosh.'        ???

Be careful folks.
