Title: Actionvoip reseller - help
Post by: seanjoe on May 14, 2009, 03:09:07 PM
hi there. does anyone know what the procedure is on becoming a reseller for this provider. I know what it says on their website, but if anyone is actually a reseller, could you please reply as to whether the rates we get for personal use are the rates that we can pass on to potential customers? thanks.

I am sorry seanjoe, but you have misunderstood my reply entirely.        :o

You have previously shared with me your change in employment, and that was not a factor in my mind in any way.       :)

I have no problem with your asking your question here ( or on telecomforum ): my only problem was about your duplicating your post here.       :o

That was my only point in complaining about deja view !       ;)

Thank you prion now we know what déjà vu means... just don't know what deja view (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deja_View) has to do with it..

I believe that mike is right: we had heard the same same question asked, in a slightly different context,  before.    :o

delaro, if you didn't remember the reason for mh's post, all you had to do is to search through seanjoe's posts (http://www.foneforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=139;sa=showPosts).
You will see the repetition in the 7th one down.    ;)

Where on earth did you find Canadian TV delaro? :-\

The link mike posted was about reselling Betamax services, just as his OP is about reselling Actionvoip. :o

Surely that is obvious! ???

If you use the forum search tool (which I know malfunctions sometimes alas) and look for Canadian TV by user seanjoe, it comes up with "No results found."    ::)

Even if he did write such a post (which I cannot find), it is certainly not the one shown as number 7 in his list of posts.    ???

Didn't you even look at mike's link, or the one I posted to seanjoe's posts?    :-\

Dear forum!

deja view (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deja_View) is Canadian TV channel

and

déjà vu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%A9j%C3%A0_vu) is "already seen" experience of feeling.

I took part in student exchange program and spent a year in Canada some time ago. I remember it used to be quite popular channel among teenagers. ;)

Regards.

However interesting your experience in Canada might be, that doesn't explain why you have ignored both mike's link, and Dave's referece to seanjoe's post number 7!   ???

What are you doing cluttering this thread with irrelevant details which are entirely off-topic?  :-\

Okay. Fair enough. Would mod either remove or move to off-topic section all irrelevant posts I have made.

Appologies for going off-topic.

Kind regards.

Well... I actually thought it was just getting interesting!  ;)

This thread seems to have got into a bit of a muddle !        :o

petkow, were you feeling a little mischievous when you made your post ?        :-\

delaro, in all honesty I did consider moving posts #5 to #15 out of sight, but I thought that would be a little hard on so many contributors ( prion, mike, Dave, HiPD, and petkow. )        ;)

In reply to your post #4, you will know now from mike, Dave, and HiPD's posts that you did miss something.  As mike told you, http://www.foneforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,1323.msg6480.html#msg6480 (http://www.foneforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,1323.msg6480.html#msg6480) does ask practically the same question, and as HiPD succinctly summarised: "The link mike posted was about reselling Betamax services, just as his OP is about reselling Actionvoip".        ;)

Let me now deal with the legitimate question of the spelling of deja view.  Although you may think me an ignoramus because I did not learn Latin, I do have an 'O-Level' in French, and I am fully aware that in French it is spelt déjà vu as you posted.  However, the term has passed into the English language, and although some dictionaries give the French spelling, others do not.  For example, see http://www.thefreedictionary.com/deja+vu (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/deja+vu).
In fact my own dictionary spells it deja view, which is even more Anglicised.        ;)

Now when I wrote my reply #3, I did so from my mobile using opera mini, and as you will know, that does not give you access to an extended character set, so I couldn't include the accents even had I wished to do so.  When I thought about editing my post later on, I decided against it, because both spellings are acceptable in English as I understand it, and in any case, those who do not know French would not recognize what the accute and grave accents are, or know what they do.        ;)

I am afraid that your inference that I was talking about a Canadian TV channel is entirely wrong, and all reference to it is off-topic as HiPD pointed out.        ;)

Rather than deleting or moving anything, let's turn this into a positive learning experience.  In future, if you have a problem with how I have spelt a word, please send me a PM about it.  That would be the friendly way of handling it.  I will gladly correct the word if I have made a genuine mistake, or explain the reason to you for not doing so if I couldn't agree with you.  I suggest that would be far better than slugging it out with all and sundry !        ;)
