Post by: mobaholic on August 20, 2009, 10:07:17 AM

Virgin Media has launched a new campaign in a bid to recruit more members with a free broadband offer.

The telecommunications firm will be offered free broadband worth £15 to customers who take on its Medium phone and television package.

Customers will also stand to save even more as Virgin Media won't be charging for installation during the promotional period.

After the introductory period, the monthly charge will go up to £14 per month with line rental adding another £11.

Also included in the package are 5GB worth of online storage, free weekend calls to local & national numbers, security package, a free wireless router as well as free photos.

Furthermore, Virgin Media launched a new Help & support forum online to alleviate the pressure on its call centre and provide with a useful alternative resource centre to its existing customers.

At the beginning of next month, the cable broadband company will be cutting the price of its 50mbps broadband line from £35 to £28, to which the price of the line rental will have to be added.
