Hi Dave, good to see you here, long time no talk Grin

Just handy for short/brief calls, if on an older Pay as you Use landline tariff , cheaper then dialling direct;
Though only just clinging onto the copper pair, with so many months to go before shutdown, I've finally and reluctantly decided to jump ship and put a port request in to move, and cancel our trusted BT landline  Cry

After a good part of two decades, we'll be landline-less for the first time  Shocked  It's going to feel odd!
Oh.. but we still have our trusty T-Mobile tariff  Wink

I poke my head in, every so often. It's a shame it's so dead these days. I guess we can thank the networks for that.

Surely it only takes a few calls to add up to a very cheap voice tariff like e.g Sky Mobile's £1 tariff (if they still have it)?

I got the £1 per month eSIM and then my phone got damaged beyond repair. I just got a replacement SIM through today and have almost immediately lost it. Not the biggest loss but annoying.

Doesn't seem to be working for us, when entering a mobile number to dial you get "I'm sorry you can not dial that number from this account"  Huh

I'm very curious which scenario makes this service useful in the present day?
