ZeroZero is like no other mobile product on the market today.
ZeroZero fits between your network SIM card and your mobile´s
SIM reader.

Most of the time ZeroZero will just sit there minding its own business,
but when you dial an international access code,  ZeroZero will come to
life and start saving you money.

Instead of letting your regular SIM direct your international call directly
through your network at a sky high rate, your ZeroZero SIM will
direct your international call through a local network number, so your call
is charged at a local rate. Your only extra cost (over your normal local call rate)
will be the small charge made by ZeroZero directly from the credit amount you
already charged to your account when you bought your ZeroZero.

India 1p Poland 1p
Australia 1p Pakistan 5p
USA 1p South Africa 3p

this seems very interesting idea from Vectone. but website gives a list of few compatible mobiles only.. what about the rest of mobile users.... esp with hundreds of new phone models being introduced everyday...

Although I have not seen the new product that panda has posted, it sounds very similar in principle to the devise that is sold to unlock a mobile by fooling it into thinking it is surfing on the right network.        Wink

Such devices will not work in mobiles which require the SIM to be slotted into a small groove - simply because there is no room there for an additional thin microchip.        Roll Eyes

I would predict, therefore, that this will be useable ONLY on mobiles where there is a little spare room in the retaining mechanism that hold your SIM card.        Wink

yes, but it would be simple enough to write a program to be installed in the phone and achieve the same function

(for them, I mean, not for me)
