These workmen are installing bollards to stop nurses from parking on the pavement outside the Royal Hospital in Belfast.  They are cleaning up at the end of the day.        Shocked

How long do you think it will be before they realise that they can't go home?        Undecided

Unfortunately I have never been to Ireland, but it would have been fun to be the first one to see the site !        Cheesy

hmmm, spoiling the story a bit, apparently it's actually in Manchester, and some people reckon the bollards are removable

try zooming in for a close-up, and see what you think - I'm not so sure about removal

Andy you sad sad man!!  Roll Eyes  Wink

I suppose you couldn't resist the temptation to google it... just as I had to as well!  Grin

Non-literally I realise I do this many a time. (i.e. paint myself into a corner, or saw off the branch I am sitting on)...

By the way... and not that it's the point... but I hear that few of these bollards are non-removable as they ultimately may need access for window cleaning machinery etc.

Congratulations to both andy and petkow for their great industry.        Smiley

For anyone confused by the options shown by petkow's search, I believe that the sixth one down gives the information produced by our avid checkers.        Wink

I never anticipated that a fun post would generate so much research !        Grin

I accepted it ....... then thought maybe I'll just check

as I typed Royal Hospital Belfast in the Google box,the drop-down options appended bollards, and that started a bit of scepticism even before I got there

actually even the first result on petkow's alternate search has the streetview link in the comments

presumably these things have a semi-hidden key somewhere to remove them, but this really is spoiling the story
