"One in 10 international calling cards fails to work - even after customer services are alerted to the problem, a test has found.

The issue was one of a series of problems highlighted during research by the regulator Ofcom last year.

Now Ofcom has said it has launched a crackdown on the advertising and sale of these cards."

Excellent post BR!

Really pleased to see that Story was one of the companies investigated and very gratified to see that they were NOT found to be responsible for ANY of the misleading minute amounts. I must admit, that one of my pet peeves is cards that claim to offer 20,000 minutes for £5 when this is not only commercially unviable, but also downright misleading. Note the companies named and shamed in the report! I rest my case.

Please see attached link to the actual findings of the Ofcome Calling Cards market investigation.

Makes very intersting reading if you have the time.
