First you need to get a mobile sim only deal with them and be with them for at least one month, then call up and ask for better deal.

thanks jagga.

The deal I posted in the 1st post I have been on for 3 months. At the start of June I took 2 new sim only deals at @ £5.00 per month, with the basic 100 mins.
Today I phoned up and asked what deal could they give me now that their tariffs have been changed and the guy offered me the following deal for all 3 of my sim only which I have with them:

2500 cross network minutes
Unlimited texts to virgin
Unlimited texts to other networks
Unlimited virgin to virgin minutes
Unlimited landline minutes
Unlimited Internet

He clearly stated that there were no FUP at all on all unlimited.

All this for £7.00 Per month per sim.

I thought this was a good deal so took the deal for each sim.

So now I have 3 sim only deals (30 day rolling) for £7.00 per month.
Every month a discount of £13.00 will be applied automatically to each sim. This has happened every month in the past.

If any of you are with virgin mobile I think it's a good time to call to see if you can get this deal too.

Hope this helps.

That's a smashing deal. Well done mate! I might get one of the 30 day sim only as well and then see what they offer me after a month or so. Really tempted.

Jagga303, can you confirm whether you've got conference calling activated on your numbers.

TIA

Well they say conference call is already activated as standard. I have never managed to make more than 2 calls at a time.
But having said that I don't think Tmobile allow conference calls either.

Negative.

Orange customers when roaming on T-mobile can merge up to 5 calls.

That's because they are orange customers, not T-mobile!

If you are T-mobile customer, it does not matter what network you use, you can't make more than 2 concurrent calls.
Don't know about Virgin mobile though!

Quite right NS.  T-Mobile customers can't make more than 2 calls concurrently because the network won't enable conference calling.

As this is a network restriction, I should be most surprised if Virgin could enable it for their customers.

Just to make things clear. My impresion was that jagga303 suggested that T-mobile does not support 3way calling at all.

That's still true. If you are a T-mobile customer you can't.
This feature has to be enabled from your service provider. It does not matter much on network you are roaming on.

Going back on the subject, I spoke with Virgin mobile today and they said they don't support conference calling on their network at all.

Just spoke with retentions at Virgin Mobile to see what they could offer me. I was on 800 xnet mins,3000 texts,3000 virgin to virgin mins and 1GB Data and was paying £6.43 per month. A discount of £14.00 was applied every month without any problems.

Lovely lady said I could have 3000 xnet mins, 3000 virgin to virgin mins, 5000 texts, 5 GB Data all for £5.99 per month on 30 day rolling sim only. I took the deal without thinking twice. A discount of £20.00 will be applied every month.

She confirmed the deal by sending an email to me.

It's worth giving them a call if you are on Virgin Mobile to see what deal they will offer you.

Hope this helps.
