I'm on virgin mobile sim only contract and have the Virgin app on my phone. A strange thing happened on my app today. Usually it states unlimited land line minutes and unlimited data on the app. But today for a very short period it showed:
Land lines : 2,700,000 instead of unlimited
Data : 22147466170 MB instead of unlimited.

After a while it showed the normal "unlimited" under land line and data sections.

So maybe these are what Virgin Mobile's monthly FUP is?

I mean how does someone use 2,700,000 minutes in one month? Shocked
Even all members on here calling together won't come close to that figure.

So maybe after all they have no FUP and are actually unlimited.

The incentive is already there.  Just need to motivate myself to get the bunch of carrots instead of the single carrot.

Anyone managed credit extraction or know most efficient method?

I can see the following in my PAYG Big Talk account. I have got 240 cross network and unlimited landline.

84565 EA - Tariff Unlimited Landline Voice
240 EA - Tariff Unlimited Anytime

yoursinlove, how did you manage to obtain 240 cross network mins as I can only see 120 mins given with the PAYG Big Talk. Do the cross network minutes roll over?  Or did you top up twice?

To be very true, i didn't care about minutes, knew when checking landline, a
s you can see untouched, used few to check.
This is new sim with first Topup (I'm thinking to keep it after adding texts!)

Although the Topup is almost finished, I think virgin charged for more than one hour landline call.
I will check it sometime.

I checked my allowance today so find the following:

Cost   Allowance Category   Allowance Type   From   To   Unit   Balance
Free   Reward   EA - Tariff Unlimited Landline Voice         90000   82926
            27/12/2012   10/02/2013   45000
            01/01/2013   31/01/2013   45000
Free   Reward   EA - Tariff Unlimited Anytime         240   229
            27/12/2012   10/02/2013   120
            01/01/2013   31/01/2013   120

It clearly means, the unlimited landline limit is 45,000, but it is mentioned twice.
I am not sure either it is Reward or duplicate by mistake (reward most probably!)

But for the record 45k is the limit for unlimited landline.

Virgin mobile is offering additional £5 when you top-up new Sim by £5. So the Sim will come with £10 in it which then can be use to opt-in the BigTalk tariff. The unlimited landline minutes are available for use over 45 days.

So top-up with £5, get £10, opt-in BigTalk, get unlimited calls and keep the £10 airtime to use. Wink

I talked to 2 different customer service rep people on 2 different occasions and both of them offered this. I don't think that this will be available on-line.
