Virgin mobile are doing a great range of sim only tariffs at present. All are 30 day contracts so you can cancel whenever you like.

The one which might be of interest for members here is the Premiere Sim only contract for £20 which gives 2500 min, unlimited texts and data, plus the added incentive of unlimited landline calls which will come in useful for some of the services offered by members here. You can also add blackberry services for free on top if you need them.

More details here http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/paymonthlySimOnly.do

I can't see any mention of a FUP.

I'm on this deal and there is no FUP and I am paying £7.00 per month as I am existing Virgin Media and Mobile customer.

Unfortunately not. You can only place two calls at a time and it's not possible to merge them.

I have heard of a few stories that Virgin Mobile have issues with their billing system if you use this deal lots. It seems they may have implemented this on their PAYG system and simply put a large allowance on which they think will not be breached. One user told me they had to call customer services almost every day to get a bar lifted, so calls could be made again.
