Why does count matters?

I noticed exactly the same with calls dropping sometimes as often as every 5 minutes.  I have been a Vodafone customer for approximately 10 years using it in the same geographical area and have noticed the service/performance gradually declining.  I couldn't decide if it was my new SIM card or new handset, but perhaps it is just the advent of their Red tariffs, admittedly I'm (ab)using it too.  Will attempt to unlock handset and try a different provider's SIM card in the handset.

Even I am facing the call dropping problem with vodafone with above deal but I thought it is a network / phone issue.

This deal is good and I have it for my main phone. But the network is absolute crap. Slow data and no 3G in most places in major cities like Nottingham !

I also have my main number on a Vodafone Red SIM, but my experience is entirely different.  Shocked

In spite of living only about 25 miles from Nottingham, I have NEVER suffered a dropped call on this network, and although their 3G signal is weaker than other networks where I am, I have noticed no lack of HSPDA speed.  Wink

My only quarrel with them is the way that they deleted accounts earlier in the year.  In all other respects, I have been favourably impressed with them.  Smiley

In my experience Vodafone network is not good as well. I sometimes completely can't make calls and experience network busy message quite often.

i have experienced way too many call dropping problems with vodafone, complained about it so many times, they sent me new sim as well. but the problem of call dropping is still there. its like i will have full signal or good signal and even then call will drop. Never had any problems with Tmobile and O2, my previous networks.

In short, will never go for Vodafone again.

i can't wait for my voda contract to end so I can move to '3' - mainly for the data, but maybe its a case of 'out of the frying pan into the fire'
