Hi

I was sent a sms today regarding a new text top up service which requires registration which I will share here.
I haven't used it as of yet. If you do decide to use it, please leave feedback here for others.

Dear

I was using texttotop up when I was in London and I have got nearly 9000+ minutes remaining. Now I am in UAE and still using the service via skype username txtncall since I have my UK caller ID set up. I would like to change my caller ID to another UK number, unfortunately, the original caller ID from which I registered and topped up is not active anymore.

Please advise how can I change my registered number and transfer all my credit to that number.

I do not remember the link password but I have the original caller ID set up in my skype from which I still can make calls.

I'm not sure why changing CLI would be that important in this instance. You have access to your units which IMVHO is the most important.

However, if it's indeed that important to change it, the only member who could assist is Mikael.

I suggest you send a PM to Mikael.

Regards,
dlR

I haven't noticed this post before now, but I seriously doubt that delaro is correct on this occasion.

This thread is about a service discovered elsewhere: as far as I know it is nothing to do with Mikael.   Wink

In any case, as niceguy15 pointed out in his reply #1, there us another thread already devoted to this service.

Your apology is welcomed and accepted delaro.

It was evidently an unaccustomed slip, which was why I said "on this occasion".
Your usual comments are 'spot on', and punctually made.

You are to be congratulated for setting such as shining example of being willing to say sorry for an unintentional mistake.
I hope other members will learn from your example.    Wink

Well done!    Smiley

I’m a little confused now as the linked thread is for text4calls, not txtncall (the Skype name mentioned in reply 4 above). Additionally if you Google txtncall you will end up at http://txtncall.com/index.html which has the trademark style of Mikael’s services web sites.

I believe what has happened here is the user was using Mikael’s service in the past but has replied to the thread of another top up by text service.

I take it this refers to the post by shahidukok (reply #4)?    Undecided

If so, the confusion is inherent in his post.  He calls the service he was using "texttotopup", which I don't believe is the correct name for either service!     Roll Eyes

He then says he was making calls via the skypename txtncall, which is Mikael's service - in which case his post shouldn't have been on this board!    Wink

He may be in the UAE as he says, but if he wants our help, he needs to post on the appropriate board, making sure he uses the correct service name.
Without either, he is simply wasting our time trying to unravel his unhelpful confusion.
