£2.88 for a phone at Carphone

Prices hit rock bottom at Carphone Warehouse with a phone for £2.88.  The Motorola W180 comes on Orange.  Carphone is also offering two handsets for a set of £20, £40, £60 or £100.

Tesco is also big on prepay discounts with a Samsung handset for under £10 on T-Mobile.  The supermarket is also doing cut price car accessories for phones.

Argos has savings on a selection of phones.  The Sony Ericsson T303 is half price on T-Mobile.

Dealwatch: O2 lures in Business with £9 contract

O2 is luring Business customers in the weekend papers, with a £9 monthly contract price with the Blackberry Curve 8900.  In the 'Save your money until spring' deal, the customer pays the discounted price for the first three months after which, they return to a £36 per month payment.

Carphone Warehouse is promoting savings of £70 -80 on laptops when bundled with O2 mobile broadband on a 24 month contract.

Vodafone is cutting contract price with the offer of a free Samsung Steel on a £15 per month contract, the phone was on a £25 per month tariff.

Deal watch: Prices lower with £15 contracts, Sim-only and prepay

T-Mobile is pushing its £15 per month tariff with a range of free phones including the Samsung Pixon, Sony Ericsson C905 and LG Renoir.

Meanwhile O2 is pushing its pay as you go sim card.  Top up £15 a month and get 500 free texts and £30 extra credit.

Orange is offering £120 credit back to those taking out a £30 per month contract. Phones available are the Samsung G600 or the LG KF300.

Deal Watch week 13: '3' offers 'five times more data than other operators'

'3' is offering a huge 15GB of data allowance on mobile broadband for £15 per month on a 24 month contract: ‘Five times more data than any other network’ says '3'.

O2 is pushing sim-only rolling contracts onto business, with a £20 contract offering 500 minutes, unlimited texts and O2 to O2 calls.

E2save piles more gift incentives onto LG Cookie contract.  The online retailer is offering a playstation three with singstar microphones and a PS3 game as well as the LG Cookie on a contract which includes 600 minutes and unlimited texts.  The deal is £30 per month.

Vodafone offers £10 contract deal with free phone

Vodafone is offering a £10 contract with a free Samsung Steel handset, the budget offer is the lowest contract price offered by the network.

3 is pushing it’s unlimited internet budget contract deal with the Nokia E71, the phone is free on a £20 contract.
3 is also putting emphasis on its 15GB data allowance deal for £15 per month, with a new advert.

T-Mobile partners with RIM to offer prepay BlackBerry

T-Mobile has partnered with RIM to launch a prepay BlackBerry providing unlimited internet for a one-off payment.

The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 is £180 on a pay-as-you-go T-Mobile contract. The phone comes with inbuilt applications such as Facebook, Flickr and instant messaging.

Meanwhile, Vodafone is pushing prepay in the papers with discounted handsets and a new deal called ‘freedom packs’ – prepay customer can buy the £10, £15 and £20 packs, which supply a minutes and texts allowance that lasts 30 days.

Deal Watch: Vodafone cuts roaming charges for three months this summer

Vodafone will cut roaming charges for all prepay and contract customer for three months this summer.

From 1 June until 31 August, calls and texts will be no extra cost when customers use their phones abroad.

Meanwhile, O2 is pushing its, organisational tool, the Joggler as the ‘new fridge door’ for families.  The device can be programmed to send free texts to O2 mobiles, designed and marketed to remind family members of important events in the calendar.

3 pushes new pay-as-you-go incentives

'3' is pushing its new prepay deals – customers do not need to top-up to use the phones if they use Skype – the operator is offering free texts, internet allowance, 3-to-3 calls and free voicemail to those who top-up £10.
Meanwhile, Orange is offering unlimited mobile broadband for £10 per month with a free dongle.
Carphone Warehouse is joining the Sim-only bandwagon with TalkMobile branded Sims starting from £7.50 per month.

Prepay and Sim-only deals feature heavily this week

'3' is pushing free calls on its prepay phones for customers using Skype – customers must buy a phone from the network – they can also get incentives for topping up like internet allowance.

Vodafone is bolstering its prepay offering, with an offer for free sims for Sunday Star readers.  Those getting a free sim are encouraged to top up with a £10 Freedom Pack which gives £50 worth of credit.

Virgin’s sim-only deals are in the papers this week – the offer is for a rolling contract from £10 per month.
