Phones 4u is offering £250 cashback to customers who sign up for a free Nokia 6300 on a 12-month Vodafone deal.
The deal is exclusive to online and is being offered on Vodafone ‘Anytime Calls 40’ contracts.
The offer appears to be the latest example of retailers cutting prices in an attempt to reduce the impact of the post Christmas lull. Phones 4u re-introduced cashback deals last year, but only offered up to £200.
Amongst a number of other online discounts, Phones 4u is offering the Sony Ericsson at W980i at ‘18 months half price’, which it claims will save the customer £270 over the course of the 18-month contract.
Mobile reported last week that Carphone has also made aggressive pricing moves to attract customers after Christmas. The retailer produced a sale guide that has seen prices on a range of products fall by up to 50%.
