During times when I cannot access the forum here, I have had to resort to sending email replies to PMs.
A number of these have bounced back recently, with an 'undeliverable' error message.
There are two possible reasons for this: that members' email inboxes are so full that there is no room for more to arrive, or that they are using services abroad which are difficult to get to receive incoming messages.
I suspect that most of the problems here fall in to the latter category.
I have noticed particular problems sending emails to addresses at yahoo.co.in
IF you have such an email address yourself, please may I suggest that you open another one in this country for forum mail ? I would suggest googlemail myself, but yahoo.co.uk is equally reliable.
( googlemail gives two big advantages: it has excellent spam filters, and its labels are a big improvement on yahoo's folders. Messages that relate to more than one sender or subject can have multiple labels, rather than having to be stored in just one folder
)
Members who open a new email address to receive forum notifications can easily change their registered email address by going to their profile page and selecting that option. The forum software will automatically send out a confimation email link on which to click once it is received.
