International call packages on Virgin Media

This is not something new, but Virgin Media offers Talk Anywhere packages where you can call any international mobiles or landlines (as well as UK mobile or landline). Average costs are from 3.5p to 4.5p depending upon the plan selected. It could be a good option if you have a virgin landline and want to call expensive destinations like Pakistan.

This is interesting. It looks like all 08 non-geographic numbers are included, so 0871 numbers could be very good value, or the 0871 top-up may work well too.

I just noticed the 0871 top-up in its current form may not be the best, as the calls to the geo numbers would end up using the allowance. However we may be able to add freephone number access to the 0871 top-up service, which would leave all the minutes intact just for making 0871 top-up calls.

I was wondering if anyone on these forums had one of these Virgin Media calling packages? I would like to develop a service to target these customers, but cannot get a Virgin Media line myself to test with! If anyone does, please PM me if interested in doing some tests.
