TalkTalk raises prices, but offers inclusive 0845 & 0870 from 2nd June

Some good news for TalkTalk customers with regard to 0845 and 0870 calls.

Members who have TalkTalk should note that calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers, as of 2 June will be " free" for up to 60 minutes, and not 70 minutes, as is the case with calls to UK 01,02 + 03 numbers on their current inclusive anytime packages.

Contrary to BT, there does not appear to be a limit to a 1000 minutes of calls to 0845 and 0870 per month.

It does however seem that you have to have line rental from talktalk too in order to get free 0870 calls. I'm not sure if you can get talktalk now without line rental, but older customers may still be on deals where they paid BT for line rental and only paid talktalk for calls. It seems there people would need to move line rental too, to get free calls to 0870 numbers.

The recently enhanced 0870 calling service for BT will now of course be very valuble for TalkTalk customers too.
