Free calls to INDIA from from UK using BT landline with

0870 99 66 8 55
&
0870 794 2974

at

why dont you test it yourself and report here rather than asking other people to do it for you  Huh

I think that it may help members to understand if I say that, having exchanged PMs with srivanisri yesterday, he has told me that his landline is not with BT, so he is unable to conduct his own tests.

Beware, BT has started charging some of the 0870 call through numbers, which were earlier not being charged. I was using an 0870 number for some time, but noticed in my unbilled calls list that I have been charged for these calls from last weekend.

So, you may be able to use these numbers for a short while, as soon as BT detect that this is a call through, they will start charging, which I think is @ 10 p/min.

I plan to test the numbers in this thread above (before some bright spark comes over and instructs me to do so), but I can do this only on weekends as I have the BT weekend only plan.
