The 08 add ons from EE & family is causing a lot of ripples in the UK telecoms circle  presently as they are almost "the Law" in telecoms now! Some services don't honour EE originated 08 made calls. Is there a way to get round this please?  Kiss

Doesn't seem to be working for us, when entering a mobile number to dial you get "I'm sorry you can not dial that number from this account"  Huh

I'm very curious which scenario makes this service useful in the present day?

Hi Dave, good to see you here, long time no talk Grin

Just handy for short/brief calls, if on an older Pay as you Use landline tariff , cheaper then dialling direct;
Though only just clinging onto the copper pair, with so many months to go before shutdown, I've finally and reluctantly decided to jump ship and put a port request in to move, and cancel our trusted BT landline  Cry

After a good part of two decades, we'll be landline-less for the first time  Shocked  It's going to feel odd!
Oh.. but we still have our trusty T-Mobile tariff  Wink
