Hi Dave,
Feedback On Cheap Route
I've been calling Pakistan for the last 3 days using the cheap route - to be honest I think its crap, no offence,
Wink - ie. Calls connect occasionally, keep getting message in Urdu " you dont have enough credit, please top up, takes a while for your voice to reach the other person, & calls keep disconnecting......  Huh

Good move if you've bought the old expensive route back, which was much better. Smiley

Regards - Niceguy

I have a cheap wholesale route to Pakistan, though I've never checked the quality. Added to my todo list Wink

Dear Davegr

I know someone if you are willing to work with him who provides free international calls via SMS top up service then users dial the access number to use there credits he provides calls to Bangladesh, India, USA, Canada all for 1 credits per min and other countries at diffrent rates both landline and Mobile from a carries he got.

He wants to setup a pre caller rival service he would like to work with you.

users dial the the 033 numbers having three 033 user can dial any, anytime any day users dial then it will how long you want the call to last enter between 0 and 59min like pre caller max call 59mins giving users 120 credits and weekend max call 59mins will give users 60 credits.
He can get apps made for the service, website etc..

You two guys working will bring top earnings and beat pre caller.

Can you give me your email address so he can contact you

Kind regards

Any chance of getting my 20,000 or so unists credited back as I didn't realise Pakistan was 13 units per minute. I was under the impression it was always 3 units per minute.

You don't ask.....you don't get.....so I thought I should ask  Grin

I've had a number of e-mail complaints that the cheap route to Pakistan isn't working acceptably, so I've routed traffic back to the expensive one for now.  Anyone here got any feedback on the cheap one's quality?
--Dave

Why not give users a choice to pick there own cheap or standard route for this price sensitive destination on a Call by Call basis; defaulted to standard when you dial as normal, as do Aloha Connect; http://callfree.aloha-connect.com/about/Quality-Promise.php then everyone's happy Smiley
Can always keep looking/keep a eye out for a better "cheap route" whilst taking feedback quality into account in the meantime.

Noticed that from Talk Talk land line the two simultaneous/parallel calls to the 0845 top-up number are not working, only one call is working now  Sad. Earlier it used to work but it looks like somehow TT have blocked this. Two simultaneous calls to other 0845 number work (same number called twice not two different numbers on two calls) though.

I can confirm your report that precaller now allows just a single topup call gc.   Smiley
However I believe that you are entirely mistaken in thinking that this is down to something TalkTalk has done.   Shocked
As far as I can tel,l it is a universal change.  I found this on Vodafone some time ago.   Wink

For my money it is a restriction imposed by DaveKnell, but as yet it's unannounced by him.   Roll Eyes
