I think dave has not kept 033 numbers anymore due to the termination fee has fallen which Dave use to make good money now it seem it's not possible to keep the 033 number available 0845 seems fine making good money on the number

Close - Ofcom have explicitly barred the use of 03 numbers for topup services.

I'm updating routing at the moment which should result in decent call quality again from later on today.

The 0845 Dave has displayed are working fine for me I'm calling from a BT landline to make my units now that Dave has made call quality better and also made changes to the rates meaning it's cheaper Bangladesh use to be 4 units per minute now its 2 units per minute the change has come due to 03 number being removed as when he had 03 numbers he had to up the prices the units people could earn to be in line with earnings he was getting from 03 numbers.

0845 number alone seems better but not many people have landline to make there units most have mobile phones nowadays.

As Dave said he can't bring 03 numbers back as they barred it for top up.

DaveKnell,

What is going to happen to Precaller from 1st of July 2015? Are you planning any changes with regards to call cost to your 0845 topup numbers?

I am confused AQ.   Cry

If your post is about the Precaller service, shouldn't it be addressed to DaveKnell, rather than to Mikael?   Undecided

Alternatively, if you intended to ask Mikael a question about one of his services, shouldn't it have been posted on the board dealing with that service?   Undecided

Precaller and UK03 update from TelNG

It's been a while since we made any changes to Precaller and UK03,
but there's a couple of things which we think you should know about.

Firstly, Precaller users can now build units 24/7, not just during peak
hours, and we've increased the rate at which you build credit by 50% -
from two to three units per minute.  More at http://www.precaller.co.uk

Secondly, we've added 0845 and 0870 numbers to UK03 to give you
an increased range of options for making your international calls and
getting cashback.  More at http://www.uk03.co.uk

Lastly, we've had trouble delivering calls to India on the back of a call
to our 03 numbers.  Rates to deliver calls to India have increased, and
it's hard to find routes at a low enough cost to make this feasible.  Calls
via our various 08 numbers work fine, and will earn you cashback.

Did anyone receive this email now we can make unlimited credits anytime on precaller I know that TALK TALK have started charging for 0845 since July 1st they don't include it in the call allowance anymore where before like other landline provided it but limiting to only 1 hour call then hang up and call the 0845 number so you don't get charged My household has BT I know they still include 0845 in the call allowance we have BT free evening and weekends call anytime so we have 0845 included provided that we hang up before 59 mins so we don't get charged.

Can you guys tell me which landline providers still include 0845 in there call packages inclusive like BT.
I know Virgin mobile now include 084 and 087 numbers people can call within there pay monthly only but there unlimited is limited to 3000 minutes I read there T&C.

@DaveKnell

Has the precaller service been discontinued? Because when I try to make a call using my existing credit on 020 3328 1355 (i have more than 100k precaller units lol) i get the message

The number you have called was run by a tel company that is no longer providing this service. Therefore calls to this number cannot be connected.
